Terms of Service
The legal terms that apply to use of the RegAlytics platform. Last updated April 2026. These terms cover Classic, SWORD, the API, the MCP server, and all associated services.
Terms of Service
Service Definition
RegAlytics provides regulatory intelligence data and access to it through a web application, REST API, MCP server, webhooks and flat file exports. The service is provided under the subscription plan you have purchased. Specific entitlements, coverage and limits are set out in your order form.
Acceptable Use
You may not resell or sublicense the raw data layer without a written partner agreement, attempt to reverse engineer the platform, use the service to harass or defame any regulator or individual, or use the service in a way that would breach applicable law in your jurisdiction or ours.
Product use for legitimate downstream applications (compliance platforms, dashboards, advisory work, internal tooling) is explicitly permitted. When in doubt, ask.
Subscription & Billing
Subscriptions are invoiced annually in advance by default, with monthly payment available on Enterprise plans. Overage charges apply if you exceed the coverage or rate limits in your order form, after written notice and the chance to right-size.
Termination
Either party may terminate for material breach with 30 days’ written notice and the opportunity to cure. On termination, we provide a 30-day window during which you can export your saved views, watchlists and exported artefacts. We retain operational logs per the privacy policy.
Liability & Warranties
We warrant the service will operate materially as described in the documentation. Our total liability under the agreement is capped at the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We do not accept liability for indirect, consequential or punitive damages. This is standard; the details are in the MSA available on request.
